About Organic Nutrition, Inc.
Organic Nutrition, Inc. was founded on January 1, 2006. Our goal at Organic Nutrition is to develop innovative products that are healthy and fun to eat. Organic Nutrition’s corporate headquarters are located in Carlsbad, CA with manufacturing and warehousing activities in the Midwest. We are partnered with companies that have over 20 years of manufacturing experience, and facilities, in excess of 200,000 sq. ft. and a capacity of over 400 MM bars per year. Strong relationships with our manufacturing and warehousing facilities ensure we are strategically set up to meet the needs of small single location stores and large corporate chains.
Organic Nutrition, Inc. is dedicated to developing nutritious, organic, gluten-free snack foods for kids. Our first year was spent in product development going through countless focus groups and product tasting events to develop Jungle Grub™ Snack Bars.
Jungle Grub® snack bars launched with two flavors, Berry Bamboozle and Peanut Butter Groove in March 2007 at the Natural Products Expo West. In addition to the original two flavors Organic Nutrition is very excited about the addition of a New Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor launching November of 2008. Organic Nutrition continues to work on new flavors for Jungle Grub® as well as developing additional gluten-free snack food products.

Steven has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies developing brands and launching new consumer products into the U.S. market for over 10 years. "I have been very fortunate in my career to have the opportunity to develop products starting from simple sketches, bringing them to fruition and to the shelves of major retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sears and many more. It’s an incredible feeling to watch people choose the product you developed and put it into their cart. I am looking forward to developing many innovative products for Organic Nutrition, Inc. "
Teresa Brandt, Ph.D.
Board Member
Teresa is a molecular and cellular biologist and has worked in pharmaceutical development for several years. Her passion for developing better quality foods for children derives from her awareness of the emerging epidemic of health issues (i.e. obesity, diabetes, and heart disease) directly resulting from poor eating habits and lack of physical activity, often beginning in childhood. Organic Nutrition is committed to being part of the solution!
